Before your first lamination

Start with a patch test.

A small step that tells us how your skin responds before the full service.

We book it at least a day ahead of a first lamination or tint, and it takes about ten minutes. You watch the spot at home. A patch test helps but can't predict every reaction, so tell us about allergies and sensitive skin too. We tint brows only, never lashes.

The day of your visit

  • Come with clean brows

No makeup, brow gel or oils on or around your brows that day.

  • Go easy beforehand

Skip retinol and exfoliating products near your brows for a few days, and leave threading or waxing until after your visit.

  • Arrive on time

We hold your time for 10 minutes. After that the visit is shortened, not pushed into the next client's.

Who should wait

Tell us before your visit if any of these apply, and we'll rebook you.

  • Irritated or broken skin

A cut, rash, sunburn or irritation on or near the brows. Let it settle first.

  • A past reaction

A reaction to a tint, a lotion, adhesive or a brow product, from us or anyone else.

  • Pregnant or nursing

Ask your doctor before booking, and tell us either way.

If you notice a reaction

Reactions can happen. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, tell us and call your doctor or go to urgent care. We stop the service if anything feels wrong.

Questions about preparing

Do I need a patch test?

We ask every new client to patch test before a first lamination or tint. It helps but can't predict every reaction.

What should I do before my visit?

Arrive with clean brows and no makeup, skip retinol and exfoliants near them for a few days, and tell us about allergies, irritation or anything new on your skin.

What if I react after a visit?

Tell us right away, and call your doctor or go to urgent care if you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision.
